Three mailboxes placed along a path in Gruenewald forest emanate faint sounds of nature as altered by anthropocentric forces, probing into themes of nature and civilization, the organic and the artificial, and the ambivalent feelings of comfort and dread that may arise when these collide. Opening each mailbox, the wanderer releases these sounds and confronts an interior that offers a visual projection of this conundrum resembling a wasps' nest or decaying mail.
